Dear Colleagues,

I would like to call your attention to two very important upcoming and exciting events here at Cheyney University.

On Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in Carnegie Hall, Cheyney University will receive a large gift to its endowment from the Clarence Schock Foundation of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania.  The check in the amount of $250,000 will create the Clarence Schock Endowed Scholarship at Cheyney University.  We invite you to be a part of this important check presentation.

On Friday, March 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Marian Anderson Music Center, Cheyney University will celebrate its Founder’s Day Convocation and the upcoming 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.  Dr. Bernice A. King, the youngest daughter of the late Coretta Scott King and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will serve as keynote speaker.  We invite you to be a part of this exciting event.

If you are able to attend both and/or either event, please R.S.V.P to Nancy L. Jones, Vice President for University Advancement, 610-399-2174 and or email: nljones@cheyney.edu.

Thank you for your continuing support of Cheyney University.
